Jennifer Fleenor is an American performer, teacher and choreographer who recently relocated to Melbourne, Australia from Dublin, Ireland. As a performer, she started her career in NYC working with artists such as Michael Foley, Teri and Oliver Steele, John Evans and Lynn Simonson, among others. In 2000, she moved to Dublin, Ireland and performed with CoisCeim Dance Theatre, Daghda Dance Company, Opera Ireland, SmartLab Europe, Shakram Music and Dance, Catapult Dance Company, Fluxusdance and Irina Pauls (Germany). She has also performed in many large scale pageants including The Goodwill Games, The Special Olympics Opening Ceremony, The Ryder Cup Opening Ceremony, The Heineken Cup Final, and Laochra: GAA Commemorates 1916 and Dublin St. Patricks Day Festival as well as film and multi media work. In 2007, she received the Ballet/Tanz Dublin Dancer of the Year Critics Award.
Jen has been a faculty lecturer at Trinity College Dublin and The American College Dublin. She has been a guest lecturer at New World School of the Arts, University of South Florida, The Ohio State University, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Bates College ACDFA, The Spence School, Professional Dance Center (Tokyo, Japan), CoisCeim Dance Theatre (Ireland) and Dance Ireland. She received her B.F.A., with highest honours, from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
